My background is using a Cuttlebug folder and layers of black and white ink to make the image stand out.
I have used Tim Holtz stamps for the birds and the clock faces, and covered them in dimentional magic to give some bulk and shape.
The heart has been cut to shape, originally this was meant to be a cut out on the house frontage but i could not get a nice finish so decided to cut it as a separate component and tone it using white ink.
The word home is chipboard covered in glitter and then inked over using black stazon to give it all a bit of texture.
The extra wording on each piece is a poem i wrote to fit the theme.......
home : is where the love flows
is where the heart grows
is where time slows
is where the heart is
The whole swag has been joined together using black grosgrain with metal heart embellishments at either end and bird cutouts between, coloured using black ink and a textured clear stamp.
