Lady butterfly

Here is my entry into the February WTA for paperarts.

A hand collaged/stamped background turned out better than I had hoped. By using wet paper and water based inks I found the images to bleed and really fill the page.

There is a small amount of acetate splattered with alcohol inks across the lower portion of the work, I think Ill use this technique again soon, it gives amazing depth.

The image is a vintage lady googled image decorated with german scrap along the bottom edge.

A little decorative butterfly from my stash has finished her off nicely.

Fingers crossed I get the winnings. lol!
