The Butterfly Lady - ATC

This little lady is the first of my artistic endeavors in quite a while.
The background is ink transfer using a technique i picked up from an arts group i belong to; photocopy an image or pattern onto a clear transparent sheet, while the image is still wet, flip it onto absorbant paper the wet ink moves as the paper allows. The original image was actually fleur de leis!
I have hand coloured the butterfly wings using tombow markers as watercolour.
The scroll is a tim holtz stamp embossed in clear EP and cut to fit the image of the 1920's lady.
I have used pearl halfs and small offcuts of stamped paper to finish the detail.
Overall i am really happy with how she has finished up.
I have entered this into the WTA (Winner Takes All) a raffle for Paperarts and although i didnt win, its been a good start back to artistic endeavors.
